Paint the Town Red

Where do you want to be seen at a party?

5 Tips to creating cozy spaces at your event

1Sensible furniture arrangement: Create seating areas within a seating area. People like to have a little privacy with their group of friends but still want to feel like their a part of the party!

2. Intriguing lighting: Having different types of light adds texture and is a feast for the eyes. Pointing light upwards, along a sheet of fabric or onto a shelving unit like so, can make a room feel larger and simple elements far more spectacular.

3. Use of candle light: Candles are a calming tool. Little flickers of light bring an element of romance and ambiance to the room. Also, if you pair with delicious treats (chocolate) it makes people feel warm and fuzzy inside, thus more inviting. And its an inexpensive touch!

4. Think intentionally about social interaction: For this event we wanted people to relax so we chose comfortable furniture. You can control how people interact by setting up spaces that encourage whatever behavior appropriate for your event.

5. Always hire friendly people: Theres nothing worse than being at an event and then having your guests feel like an inconvenience to those serving them. Customer service is key!

I hope that gives you some ideas for your future events, whether that be corporate or your very own wedding. These tips apply in both occasions, ALWAYS!
